Chaddis, ignorant of world history, like to imagine that Indian civilization was the most advanced in the ancient world. However, they are mistaken. That honor clearly belongs to the Egyptian civilization.

In terms of sheer grandeur, there was nothing in ancient India comparable to the great Pyramids of Egypt.

After the destruction of the Indus valley civilization, India entered into a long period of "darkness" as is evident by the fact that the burnt brick technology developed in the Indus period came to an abrupt end.

Hatshepsut was born at the dawn of a glorious age of Egyptian imperial power and prosperity, rightly called the New Kingdom. Her father, King Thutmose I, was a charismatic leader of legendary military exploits. Hatshepsut, scholars surmise, may have come into the world about the time of his coronation, c. 1504 b.c., and so would still have been a toddler when he famously sailed home to Thebes with the naked body of a Nubian chieftain dangling from the prow of his ship—a warning to all who would threaten his empire.

Hatshepsut seems to have idolized her father (she would eventually have him reburied in the tomb she was having built for herself) and would claim that soon after her birth he had named her successor to his throne, an act that scholars feel would have been highly unlikely. There had been only two—possibly three—female pharaohs in the previous 1,500 years, and each had ascended to the throne only when there was no suitable male successor available. (Cleopatra would rule some 14 centuries later.)

The debate on oldest civilization is not settled yet. Indian, Chinese and Mayan are very much in contention.

Rashmun must hate India. If anyone compliments non-Muslim India, he finds ways to put it down. I was essentially comparing monomaniac history/culture with Indian history/culture. I was also putting Nehru and other losers in perspective. So, he has to bring in Egypt. Well, Egypt was great but not because of monomaniacs.

There is no "Indian civilization" as "India" is defined today.

Tamil civilization is definitely different from NOrth Indian civilization from millennia.

At the time of the Indus Valley Civilization, Tamil Nadu was a jungle inhabited only by tribals.

No. The Tamil civilization was south the current Tamil Nadu. It was swollen by a tsunami. The remaining Tamil population occupied rest of South Asia and Harappa civilization as Tamil. You will see fish emblems there-symbol of Pandya dynasty. Then Aryans came as migrants AND infused Aryan myths etc. South remained unpolluted by Aryans until Pallava rule. Even then, it was unable to subdue Tamil culture and Tamil cultur/language is intact even today. The greatest threat started in 1947. Thanks to great leaders an spokespeople this threat is somewhat contained. This containment may be breached soon.

Bastard and Idiot,

Tamil was spoken by Mayans in Ancient USA, which means Tamil is original spoken US language.

Actually, Tamil was first passed on to humans by Dinosaurs. Check any dinosaurs movie and you will notice T-Rex communicating in Tamil with other dinosaurs.

When Muslims invaded Indian subcontinent they already knew Tamil and wanted to learn another language. That's when Urdu was born from Persian.

This is 100% correct. If you want you can google this information.

Looks like you are borrowing the method used by DKheads.

Ravan was a great Tamil king and Rama was an Aryan barbarian who didn't let his wife sleep with a Tamil........

Hey Kayar,
You can reclaim the old TN (better get yourself a boat)......

The fish
- it may suggest that your ancestors were fishermen and when they dry the fish, people walking nearby close their noses.........
