This is a very special movie to me for many reasons, I can't be too objective..

Having made that disclaimer..will try a mini-review.

It's a nice old-fashioned war movie (if you like those)...fun with all the modern technology, also inspirational and patriotic..the whole family can see.

Will say the dialogue could have been more "fine tuned"...but, since they wanted young people to see the movie-may be they can relate to a WW2 movie better this way.

Hope it gets lots of recognition and some awards.

Please.

I don't know, don't really care to know..and since you mentioned it- looks like it must have been rotten.

I just hope people don't blindly believe- make up their mind about ANY movie entirely based on my review, ANY review or an Oscar win/ANY award. Have to gone to movies based on good reviews/awards and they were awful.

that doesnt change the fact that this movie was excruciatingly boring and cliched. I've never seen more cliched overacting outside of a rajnikantham/kamalhasan movie.

No almost in the "happy"..only almost in the "hug!"

It's to spare him..think most people know how he feels about Merylamma and Madonna amma kind of hugs..we are much too ancient for him..but, I could be daring on a good day- and give him one and let him deal with it!

All in good fun..I hope a lot of people watch this special movie..nice to see Indians watch it too!

I normally wouldn't have but it was an unhappy circumstance that forced me to watch it for those excruciating 2 hrs. shoulda known better than watch a george lucas made stinker.

Yeah- to fate/destiny whatever..made you see it, sorry!

It's not a perfect movie..it's an entertaining -action packed war movie..and uplifting:)

you have to weigh the rotten, excruciatingly boring, cliched, unhappy, stinker, not perfect
with the nice, old-fashioned, inspirational, patriotic, uplifting

In all seriousnes:

If you like old WW2 war movies..you may find it interesting. If you like American history- esp. as it relates to racial integration and struggles..and the evolution, you may find it interesting. *Otherwise, may not be worth your time.

It must be obvious by now- that's more than just another movie to me. Everyone is certainly entitled to their views.
