Remember seeing the temple, especially the Nandi when i was a kid. Awesome considering the time when it was built.

Rajendra Chola is also responsible for a phenomenal amount of South-North synthesis when he marched North right up to the banks of the Ganges, defeating various kingdoms on the way. His generals and soldiers eventually ruled some of those territories and undoubtedly played in the genetic pool of Northindia (which explains Rashmun's love for Tamil).
