What a concoction of 1930s Hindi dialect with TamIndi sprinkle and Muslim sounding urdu words... ...sung by a Tamil? hahaha

what a pity! can't you recognize sanskrit?

about this woman -- interesting voice but didn't make much of an impression on me. i think her voice has the potential to make interesting music but what i listened to was not interesting. just taking existing traditional carnatic sahityams and placing them in an unusual context doesn't in and of itself qualify as interesting or creative.

Its not pure carnatic, it fusion music. I think her voice is very deep and interesting (minus the weird accent on some words) and her attepmt at fusion between carnaric and jazz is cool!
