Re: Tamil Nadu: "Do not ignore Hindi"
The way SI, Maha and Gujrat are surging ahead, it makes more sense for bhaiyyas and Biharis to learn SI languages, Gujarati & Marati than for SIs to learn Cowbelt languages. It looks silly to see Akilesh Yadav responding in bhaiyya bhaasha when someone asks him questions in English. I don't see any bold development-related moves by him. Looks like UP will continue to be a bimarU state.

What about the fact that Hindi movies are widely popular all over India (particularly in cities all across India) ?

One of the guys who commented on the article spoke the truth "the bitter truth, Hindi is not a completely Indian language, it is of foreign origin, whereas Tamil was one of the main language of ancient India - the importance of Tamil is paramount for the country's heritage. "
It is good enough Tamils learn one language which is of foreign origin. i.e English which is used all over the world.

Hindi and Urdu are sister languages and both are of Indian origin.

My views on Hindi are in harmonious agreement with the views of the greatest tamil writer of the 20th century--Subramanya Bharathi. Bharathi personally made efforts to promote and spread Hindi all across Tamil Nadu.

If you don't believe what I am saying about Bharathi's views on Hindi feel free to ask Max about it .

I have no immediate plan of visiting TN but I will let you know when I next visit the place.
Instead of meeting just any tamil nationalist I was wondering if you would care to meet me personally.

So what? People in SI are amused by the fantasies in Hindi movies that don't represent the lives of the average bhiayyas.

Many of the top actresses in Hindi movies are South Indians (sridevi, hema malini, rekha). Personally i like Asin and also Nayanthara.
Also, many of the top actresses in SI movies are North Indians ( naghma, khushboo, simran, etc.)
Pornography is freely available in Japan and the rape rate is also very low. High time u educate yourself a bit.

The point is that the fact that Hindi movies are watched all across India shows that Hindi is, informally speaking, the national language of India.
