Raghuram Rajan - India's hope? Empty Raghuram Rajan - India's hope?

Raghuram Rajan is a brilliant guy.  Plus, he is libertarian and a fan of Milton Friedman.  I like him already.  He is going to be the next Gov of RBI.

Once we have Narendra Modi as PM, India will get on the right track.

I am slowly accumulating INR and dipping my toes into India ETFs.

the BBC world news interviewed pallavi roy of the london school of economics university of london, and asked her about the state of the indian economy in general and about the new rock star (as they described him), raghuram rajan.

in an otherwise lucid response, she started with a jarring giggle and first commented about his good looks before going on to describe his qualifications for the job and what he is likely to do.
