Further, united AP activists who almost lost hopes on the state’s unity are now hailing Lagadapati as the Samaikhyandhra hero and are willing to credit him in the event of stalling of the state’s division.
“His actions are being criticized but such a sensation was needed to jolt our Parliament out of its slumber over Seemandhra’s anguish,” says Giri Srikanth (31), a local journalist in Kurnool in Rayalaseema, reflecting the views of most of his town’s people. “He’s seen as a hero now.”
