protesting - are they protesting? Empty are they protesting?

they appear to be very angry at the railway authorities for taking idli and dosa off the menu. the lady in the video starts it by addressing the authorities in an animated fashion and manages to dish out more contempt just by using her hand and shrill voice than anyone could do by asking pointed questions. her heartfelt protest gets immediate support by a man and a dubious gender. together, they protest in a most singular fashion: breast-slapping, chest-slapping, forehead-slapping, ankle-slapping, thigh-slapping, calf-slapping, elbow-slapping, earth-slapping and knee-slapping. they slap one body part while yelling “nakka” and another while saying “mukka”.
