While Kochi takes the top spot on 'bulge' index (46 pc), followed by Bengaluru (43 pc), Ahmedabad comes third. Mumbai-kars, on the other hand, rank lowest, with only 27 per cent of population having weight issues, the AC Nielsen survey commissioned by Johnson & Johnson has found.


*ahem* So much for the theories floated around on Sulekha that South Indians are healthier; looks like all those healthy Southern Indians have flocked to Mumbai.

Not so, according to A C Nielsen survey reported by TOI on January 19, 2013.

The results are from the 10% that can afford j&j products. that is a reflection on fat middle class.

There was a time when Malayalees were like the Chinese (who have since become fat). The men were always skinny and the women were......womanly.

Now Keral has nothing worth "viewing."
