Under the jurisdiction of P.V. Narasimha Rao, the then home minister of India, innocent Sikhs were killed in cold blood in the capital after the assassination of Indira Gandhi. The Babri Masjid came down when Rao was prime minister. These were the two most damaging realities that India had to deal with at the time, the repercussions of which are still being felt.

And, PVN was "very busy" when  the news about - Babri was going to be pulled down - was conveyed to him! But, since he was a CONwallah, he could do some CONartistry and call himself secular while being utterly fukular. Nitish is now the "secular champion" who left communal BJP.

We need a calm leader with common sense to enter the fray and ask for a substantive mandate to fix all that needs to be corrected. Hyper-rhetorical, arm-waving speeches are not the need of circa 2013. A clear vision concerning develop-ment is what is expected from government. That is what politicians are elected to deliver. They have failed in this respect and have debilitated India with corruption.

Then who is that  " calm leader with common sense" ?

Rahul Gandhi?

Why can't Mr. Singh just say whether Modi is fit to be PM or not?
