The plane is boarded but no pilot!!!

The pilot who was to fly us, his inbound flight got rerouted to lga. So they are talking to another pilot to see how far he is. Or find a replacement, who just showed up (while I was typing). Showed up from where? What if he was partying it up before being called? What if he is too drunk.

now will be a good time to start googling how to fly a plane. fingers crossed will only make typing more difficult.

Once in Atlanta, the pilot was there and the plane was still in the hanger and there is no one to bring it to the gate. After 1 hour, the pilot himself went to the hanger on a luggage trolly and "drove" the the plane to the gate and we took off after 1 hour.
