Discovered this by chance. Watched Nirmala and Boodhi kaki earlier today, now starting again with Godaan. Will finish all the other stories as well. Enjoy!

Godaan is an all time classic novel. Do not know much about Tv serial. I think gulzar is associated with that work. Keep us informed on what you feel.

Congrats.

It's amazing that Premchand was not nominated for the Nobel prize in literature. His stories and novels depicted the reality of India in last two centuries more than any other literary person's writings, including the works by Tagore who got the 1913 Nobel prize in literature.
