maybe we should go the no-to-barely-one practise game route like in WI in future tours - it will help the fragile confidence of our bowlers for sure if they don't suck against CC players...

But...this time they just now played the windies for a month.

Singhan might be for consideration but I doubt he will make it to the playing eleven, I believe raina has pipped him for his spot. Laxman is taking the needed rest as he played WI.

pipped him? raina had him beat by a hundred miles. pipping singhan would be if the competition was between my late grandmother and singhan.

I am hoping Mukund does not do a Vijay and makes it with gambhir - Sehwag will be in/out for the next 2 yrs b4 quitting the game. Too bad for Pujara - he needs to cement his place b4 RD or VVSL quits. And, save us all from Singhan, and Rana.

what amazes me is that singhan is always in contention no matter what. other failures come and go but this one lingers on forever, like a bad stubborn zit.

He is a bits and pieces players. He is hand with the ball for a non regular bowler and he passes as a not very bad fielder. Might have some political connection too.

so, the pitch that "had nothing for the fast bowlers" on day one suddenly turned in to bowler's paradise on day 2? and then again a batting paradise on day 3? why can't these reporters just say we bowled badly on day 1?
and what's with sreesanth? there is not much difference between his fugures in a 20-20 and a test. madras mafia, of course, does not see that.
