thank you. i listened to about 10 minutes of it and loved it. plan to listen to the rest of the viLakkavurai later today. i did not know about d.a.joseph.

to me this is enduring proof that much of ancient tamil poetry, even that which is explicitly religious in nature is poetry first. that it appealed to a young christian boy who has since drunk deep from the ocean that is the divya prabhandam is proof enough of its universal appeal. i am glad he didn't change his name.

Actually, I listened to the link Flutie posted...He made more sense than any of the swamys. On listening to a couple of his other youtubes, this guy has mastered everything - Bhagavatham, Azhwars, Vedas, Upanishads...

His website lists all his vidoes
