didn't expect them to get this far. i think a lot of credit goes to jurgen klinsmann.

That was such a dud of a match. Germany thoroughly dominated us. I don't think US will go much farther.

did we watch the same match? i thought the US did very well at least in defense and took a few close shots that nearly got them a goal. it wasn't pretty to watch, but much of that probably can be attributed to the weather.

My personal bias, I guess. I would rather watch Ronaldo than the over-hyped Amrikaano team.

i don't think it was luck that brought US out of group of death. they deserve all the praise and encouragement they can get.
other teams are stronger than team USA but i feel their morale is high, they're focused and anything is possible from here.
