Some marriages are well known, but some I did not know (L.K. Advani's niece, Subhramanyan Swamy, Lakshmi' Sehgal's daughter, etc.). A couple that were left out were Gen. Cariappa's (former Army Chief) daughter, and Ramdas Katari's (former Navy Chief) daughter.

The key question:

How many hindu husband and muslim wives?

AND

how many converted to iSlam before mariage and how many converted to hinduism ?

These are the real problems and not necesarily hindu-muslim marriages.

That's because the tradition of converting to Hinduism (baptizing) was invented only recently, in Gujarat under great Modiji's leadership.

There is also the population thing - 12% vs. 80% and the fact that Hindus tend to be more liberal --- many Muslim boys show up for Bhangras and Navaratri garbhas and dandias, and Hindus stay away from Muslim festivals.

Muslim men should be banned from hindu festivals mainly for women. Muslim women may be allowed.

Glad hindus stay away from muslim festivals, otherwise the Muslim men will harvest even more hindu women.
