are you looking for a book that explains the structure/functioning of brain?

i bought these two books a few months ago - they are both very enjoyable and written for laymen.

phantoms in the brain
tell-tale brain

both are by vilayanur ramachandran.

there is also a BBC(i think) show based on the first book. i have watched bits of it.
