observation: Gujarati culture is more closure to Jainism than what is considered as Hinduism by rest of India.
larger sections of gujaratis are vegetarians. Hindu Gujarati traditions are almost indistinguishable from Jain traditions.
modi seems more like a Jain than Hindu. Not that it is a problem. Just an observation seeking your comment.
