India finally made a respectable total for a one day game. However with depleted (or non existent) bowling bowling resources it may still find it difficult to defend a 280 total. But for the first time in a long time, India is in with a chance.

Much maligned Dhoni and Raina have provided some reasons why India won the world cup.

India could have won the game with a little more bowling power. But Dhoni and company did what they could with bowling they had. As a team they showed some fighting spirit and came up with responses.

Overall Indian one day team is giving a better account of themselves than the test team. While England won the ODI series, they were not as convincing as in Test series.

Indian batting will repair itself and it will find new resources. But Bowling will require lot of effort.
