**they're both hindi songs but on the first few listens the first one sounded like it was in a foreign language, maybe some european language. this even though i do watch hindi movies: i've seen ddlj and yaadein and neil and nikki. i liked all three movies.

Still r'ber watching this movie in the late 80s when they played it in the village on a big screen, projector and all. I think it was monsoon time, so they put it indoors.

Totally loved it... we were 15ish i think. My friend and I walked in to watch it, but met other school friends too. I think I wore a white cotton shirt and black denim small skirt (or maybe that was on the day we watched Sagar). The idea was to do boy-watching and I looked around for XB or XH or anyone from our group, but they were not there I think, don't remember.

Sat down to watch this movie, and watched it completely. A few minutes into the movie, turned around to see a bunch of boys sitting behind us, but the one sitting right behind me was straining to the left to be able to see the screen, as all the chairs were on the same level. Got reminded of my height, my friend and I giggled, and I scooted down a little.

Just 1-2 years later Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi was released that was based on the same theme of Roman Holiday. Loved DHKMN as well.

Those days were so romantic... loved everything.
