lmaoooooooooooooooooooooooooo. my family and friends on social media are still in tears. i must have watched this hundred times today and i still can't stop laughing or watching it again. phattu ko laga kahin bomb ud ke gand me na ghus jaye, so bhagoooooooooooo. hahahaha.
last to last diwali a rocket went up and a solid mass of it fell on my wife's head. it hurt! anyway from this year i have decided to stop patakas and donate the equivalent amount we spend on it (30k and to be re calculated every year to correct it to inflation) to http://www.premasree.org/ (my school friend runs it). i will continue this for as long as i live.

donating sounds like a good idea.
I never liked those rassi/sutli bombs... hated the loud noise and it gave me a headache. Someone I know recently lost hearing in one ear coz of these ones...
and hehe.. i am a phattu too, especially when it's been years since you lighted any of those crackers. I have never been to India in diwali (or rakhi or holi) since 1996... maybe one of these years I will plan that way.

I think for dhoti, they take the loose end from the front and tuck it at the back. Maybe it's veshti. Lungi is the generic term used for the guy in the video. Maybe 'veshti' is a more accurate term for it.Beatrix Kiddo wrote:ok fine... phattu in a dhoti...
