A fine example of difference between Indian mindset and Australian or NZ. Guptill was on 194 with about 4 overs to go. Manjrekar says he should take singles from here on as 200 is an important milestone, Hussey disagrees and says he will go for a big one. Sure enough, Guptill goes on to hit 2 fours in the next 3 balls he faced and gets his double ton. He is batting on 217 with 2 more overs to go.

Guptill's final score, 237 not out. What an innings, extraordinary, full of all clean and conventional shots. NZ sets a huge target, Windies need to score 394 to win this match.

Extraordinary or not, it was boring. Mazaak ban chuka hai cricket. They need better bowlers n longer boundaries.

This is one of the bigger grounds in NZ and his batting was full of clean & textbook shots. I do agree with you on poor bowling but ODI rules are such that they won't help the bowlers much, else the flat track bullies like Yuvi, Raina, Dhawan and Rohit would have no place in intl. cricket.
