history will be kind to this presidency.
aside -- why is it that former republican presidents have:
done not much (before alzheimers took over), gone for yearly rides in parachutes, and painted silly cartoons of their own naked selves in the shower, while former democratic presidents have:
focused on building cheap homes for the poor and help verify that free and fair elections take place around the world, and helped economic development in poor regions of the world?

absolutely. stabilized the economy, enacted health care law, took care of bin laden, cut the ballooning deficits caused by the previous administration to a smaller fraction of the GDP, tried to clean up the enormous piles of shit left over by the previous administration in afghanistan and iraq, and has finally seen an improvement in the economy and the job market. all this despite encountering constant resistance at every turn from the party of NO. i am certain that this presidency will be judged kindly by history if it continues on this path.

i expected that response. we are not going to agree on this. the nobel prize has often been used as a political statement. and as political statements go, obama is a reasonable choice. I'd like to the case made for the cretin.
