Chandrababu's New Scheme
http://www.gulte.com/news/42087/Chandrababu-New-Scheme-Amaravathi-BondsAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is going through toughest phase in his political career, though his party is in ruling. He has bigger tasks ahead to construct capital Amaravathi as world class city and also to run the government with lack of funds. At least few major buildings are to be constructed in Amaravathi by 2018 in order to prove his loyalty, in view of a fact that elections will fall in 2019. Naidu is bringing funds from various sources for monthly expenses; hence, it is harder for him to raise funds for Amaravathi construction in parallel.
It is heard that, Babu is looking for best options to accomplish his mission. He decided to cash on sentiment of Amaravathi. When he publicly asked for funds towards construction of new capital city for AP, post state bifurcation, many had offered money, gold and other things. Now, Babu has decided to release bonds with intent of amassing funds for Amaravathi. In fact, he is planning to give tax exemptions to those who buy the 'Amaravathi bonds'. Estimated budget for the first phase of the construction is around Rs 60,000 crores. It is highly impossible to obtain such amount from the Centre.
In these circumstances, Babu made his mind to raise funds through bonds. However, political analysts questioned, is this a right move? Why because, huge corruption has allegedly taken place in Godavari Pushkaralu arrangements costing Rs 1600 Cr for govt. So, chances for corruption will be high for giant project like 'Amaravathi construction'. More importantly, Govt. needs to get SEBI permissions to go for these bonds. State will run into further debts, if they collect funds through these bonds, some economists warned.
Instead he should turn to our resident patriots Vakavaka, TBT & Propa. They will, in no time, raise half of the required funds for their beloved [world class] state/capital.

Re: Chandrababu's New Scheme
He was criticized for what he was trying to do for Hyderabad (I was one of them). He proved his critics wrong.
He won't quit, especially when others are opposing. Give him time.
Just look at TN - Jaya has made it a revenue deficit state. If CBN runs TN, he will show what a revenue surplus state it can be. KCR is benefiting from what Hyderabad has become - a cash cow for T. Telangana is a revenue surplus state because of what CBN had done for Hyderabad early on.

What's next? CBN inspired Gandhiji !! Hyderabad had underground drainage system when CBN was defecating in open in his remote village. Hyderabad was the 5th largest city in the country when poor Andhrawale began arriving in large numbers in search of livelihood. So, enough of we developed Hyderabad BS, as a matter fact these idiots benefited because of Hyderabad, Hyderabad would've grown in spite of these folks.Vakavaka Pakapaka wrote:He was criticized for what he was trying to do for Hyderabad (I was one of them). Your approach is similar to that of motivated Telangana politicians. Today's Hyderabad is not just Domalguda, Malakpet, King Koti, Nampally, Public Gardens and Old Hyderabad. Take a look at Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Kukatpally, Cyber City, HiTec City, Madhapur, Gacchibowli, Kondapur, Jeedimetla, etc., to name a few. Also, check which sectors contribute to the bulk of Hyderabad's revenue today.
Also, don't forget that the Qutb Shahi dynasty built the old city, Charminar, Falaknuma, etc., with the revenue from coastal areas (and not from the Telangana region - which was dirt poor).

Hyderabad has been the 5th city since the independence. One has to be very naive or extremely biased to suggest that CBN and Andhras developed it.Vakavaka Pakapaka wrote:confuzzled dude wrote:What's next? CBN inspired Gandhiji !! KCR and other Kauravas drooling at the revenue generating Hyderabad should remember what Andhraite Gurazada said - dEsamatE maatti kaadOi dEsamantE manujulOi. AP may be a revenue deficit state now but the people are resilient and they will build prosperity with an iron will. When KCR visits Amaravati a few years from now, he will behave like Duryodhan in Mayasabha. Jagan will perform odarpu for KCR while sitting in Chanchalguda.

Re: Chandrababu's New Scheme
In that case moron CBN and other idiots from Andhra should stop taking credit for Hyderabad's revenues and stop claiming that they developed Hyderabad when in fact they came there to make a living and to enrich themselves by robbing common folk. Hyderabad is no Vijayawada or Guntur, never was.Vakavaka Pakapaka wrote:confuzzled dude wrote:Hyderabad has been the 5th city since the independence.
