Lol - Nevertheless, in this case, I bet no one from the south would have that kind of divisive perception.

Key question: How many of these awardees belong to SC/ST and Dalits. Note that there are are no muslims. It is important that these caste are well-represented.
Only then these awards can be returned at the next opportunity to protest against intolerance.

Well, if she didn't grow up in Chidambaram, I wonder if she would have been a dancer. So, places like Tanjavur and Chidambaram made people the most intolerant in SI. In addition, idol worship also contributed to this bad behavior. It is actually an insult to club our Super Star with ANYONE under any award category.
His award should be unique and not given along with other sundries.
He should be given Bharat Ratna or even better... "Akhand Bharat Ratna"

Shouldn't it be the other way round. The Bharat Ratna award given a Rajnikanth to make it feel proud.
