Sudhakar Reddy, Secretary of CPI, said Triple Talaq is not a priority issue for seculars. He added BJP is only doing this for political reasons.

So after 1400 years of historical evidence and 68 years of Independent Indian muslim women experience, communist secular leaders cannot find time for a major women's issue.  But when others (probably for their opportunistic political reasons) step in they will criticize it and not support it.  CPI and secularists never admit to their muslim appeasement mentality but give utterly anti progressive excuses like 'not a priority'.
