Putin lackey to Putin: Sir our idiot Governor of the American province wants to exert some muscle in Syria to please our American subjects.

Putin to lackey: Ok ask the army to park some old Soviet era tanks out in the desert and let the idiot know the location. He can send in some airplanes, strafe the useless tanks and get some nice pictures to send to his Fox News outlet. That ought to do the trick.

Lackey: Yes sir. Brilliant idea!

The Syrian Air Force launched airstrikes against the rebels from the base only hours after the American attack. The ability to continue to use the base for these attacks has been attributed to the advance warning the US gave to Syria's ally, Russia, prior to the missile strike.
