This is called the internet. There are usually websites which have defined function. This particular website called youtube, carries in them loads and loads of videos (pirated and non-pirated legitimate videos). You click on the play button on a video and lo and behold, they start playing.
This particular video, contains a song in an obscure south indian language called Tamil, and the song is about a city called Chennai, capital of the South Indian state Tamilnadu.
At the beginning of the video, there is what we call 'Title montage' which describes what you are about to see. If I understood correctly, that title describes this a movie called 'Marina'. This 'Marina', I think is a beach in the South Indian city of Chennai.

@ GK. DM, i cannot access youtube from work, hence the question. BTW, its 12:01 PM, did you aadum nerum today? just checking.
i watched a show on vijay TV abt this movie. it has the funny man[who comperes] as the lead, right? he is really good. i love the way he talks. don't know how good he will be playing the lead in a movie.

Know about your Youtube issues.. thought it was funny at the time and went with it. now i read it, it sounds lame.
dunno who the lead is. Haven't seen him before. I heard about the song from cousins back home.

one request, please do not attempt a translation of the song into english. my friend from college killed me with a nasty one, esp the first two lines.
