Economist says "India, the regional superpower, is largely to blame. Though it is a democracy and has easily the biggest economy and armed forces in South Asia, it has rarely been a force for good. Instead it has treated the neighbours, by turns, with negligence and high-handedness."

I AGREE. I may subscribe the magazine.

the economist's attitude towards india is a well known fact . in the earlier days when we reached a growth rate of 9 percent , they used to make fun of our economic progress . only when the west's economies took a beating while our economic growth continued did they shut up . even so , they are always belittling us in front of china .
