Exit polls (see the Hindu) suggest a SP victory in UP. Rahul's magic did not work. Congress may get power in Punjab, uttaranchal. BJP draws blank. Who gains from this MESS?

UP takes 3 steps back for every step forward. Mulayam, Jr is likely to be the CM.

J & K, TN, Punjab, UP, Central Govt. all have Jr heading them or trying to head them.

Just declare India as an empire with 500 princely states (districts) each ruled by a goon, Prince, or a local chieftain.

It is all relative. Compared to Mulayam, Mayawati was better as she was in learning mode the first 2 years...
