how come a 71 year old with history of heart problems get a heart for transplant when there are thousands of young patients waiting in line? Douchebaggery knows no limits.

Lemme see.... Should someone with a hx of hrt problems can only receive any other organ but a heart?

Now seriously, if he has other co-morbidities that are covered up, it is a different story. He has been on the wait list for 20 months; so, there is no flag concerning favoritism on that count.

I am not sure if someone with diminished cognitive abilities is eligible for a heart transplant. That is something to think about.
