Making the GOP pro-choice Empty Making the GOP pro-choice

Jon Stewart calls it as it is... including referring to the time Mitt Romney called for welfare recipients with young children to have jobs outside the home as well, so they could have "the dignity of work." Maria was wondering earlier how the GOP would react to poor women with children "choosing" to not work outside the home. We need to wonder no longer as far as Mitt Romney is concerned. The conclusion: charity begins at home, but dignity begins outside the home.

Whoa!

Have not seen this..how interesting to see what I was wondering about, addressed in such clear terms..am not surprised to see the GOP double standards for Poor Mothers vs. Rich Mothers!

Thanks Carvaka.

I also thought that Hilary Rosen while in the short-term drew a lot of negative attention for the Democrats with her comments, as they publicly distanced themselves from her, and it gave Ann Romney a boost ("early birthday gift" as she called it)..in the long term as this article states- it will be a plus with the real debate about the unfair economic disparities which exist and dispropotionately affects poor working women.
