Policy has to be pragmatic and just. Mittster is deep in redneck territory when he opposes the Dream Act. The silly posture of jumping into the moving bandwagon and preventing the crowd behind you to get in, is more suited to Mumbai trains!

there is a basic human question about deporting individuals who have not known any country other than the united states their entire lives, and whose presence in the US is no fault of theirs, a decision in which they had no conscious choice to begin with, to a country which they only know through hearsay. it's inhumane. this shouldn't be a political question but one of basic human rights.
