According to reports posted by Maria in Suleka, A Tamil song will be played at London Olympics opening ceremony.

I read somewhere alse that Ms. Mathank Arutprasadam will also sing a song at the opening ceremony.

It nice to see the reports I posted in another website (!) mentioned in this Super Elite forum!

As for the song itself, as I mentioned..it is so ordinary/mediocre for a folksy-fighty song (when there are so many great compositions by the great Maestro). I am sure it will be enhanced, modulated..remixed in a grand way for the Opening ceremonies at the Olympics!

I agree Angel.

Whatever it is, what is seen as normal in almost all forums (like a good morning) or people who have mass- ordinary people appeal.. are usually seen as more "pedestrian" and not as sophisticated, if you will, here (it's my observation).

You can certainly disagree.
