While channel surfing recently I came across this lady's (Sweta Prasad) concert in Tirupati Devasthanam and was impressed with her diction and singing style. You may wish to check her out too.

Thanks! Will check her out. A google search tells me that she is the grand daughter of the actor nagabhushanam.

Nice! Another interesting tidbit. She learnt music from Neti Srirama Sarma who studied under Parupalli Ramakrishna panthulu along with Balamurali.

I guess the vaasana of your guru will not leave you for the rest of your life. That's why they say that you should start early, and with the right guru. For example, you can see GNB's influence in Sudha Raghunathan (listen to her sing "vaasudevayani" in Kalyani) even though she never learnt music from GNB himself.
