Sarah Palin is still thinking about running for president. Seriously. She thinks it is possible enough that she doesn't just say to the reporter who asked her the question, "are you batshit crazy or what?" It would be lovely to watch a primary debate between Sarah and Michele -- each trying to run further right than the other.

In yet other news, Palin was viewed more favorably at this point in the race than Ryan is today.

After liberal pile up, it is time for a reality check. Despite Ryan and Romney's poor likability their team is beating incumbent president. Add to that economic woes that launched Obama are still lingering around to help the challengers.

Obama seems to be slow to accept reality when it is staring at his face. This slow response was observed during the rise of opposition to obamacare, 2010 midterm elections, senate loss in MA, and now in debate preparation.

Once the opposition is hitting full stride Obama needs to show that he belongs and he is better. His performance at convention and debate raise questions. He needs to prove he can think on his feet without TelePrompTer.
