Biden- Ryan debate

Done. At a mutually agreed temperature of 65 degrees. If it were me, I would have fought tooth and nail for 72 degrees.

I love Biden, loved him when he debated Palin, love him now.

Ryan looked like a high school kid with exaggerated theatrics, but he wasn't bad at all.

no contest. biden's a dumb old guy that doesnt know his ass from elbow (vitness his infamous gaffes w.r.t race which the bicoastals wont make a stink about) in the same mold as the first bush's running mate of the potatoe fame. the fitness freak with the pirates of carribean wife is atleast smart and knows his stuff, his outlandish objectivist beliefs from reading ayn rand's bullshit not withstanding.

Yes, for Biden. Although he looks much older now.

This is in my face every day, in my neighbor's yard, like 2 inches from mine. He has a huge yard, and several nice spots where he could have stuck it. But no, he has to put it right on the line. I need to go get a Obama-Biden sign. Wonder where people get those from.

That was hard to read..so may adjectives thrown in one or two long sentences - dumb, ass, bicoastals, stink, outlandish, bullshit.

what you need to know:
biden: dumbass old guy with a childish smirk in place of real debate points.
ryan: has pirates of carribean wife (she could land a place in that movie based on her looks) but is smart and serious abt his stuff unlike the dumb and clownish biden.

I missed this debate as well, as I was on a flight at the time. From what I have read about it so far, it sounds like both guys did what they needed to do for their partisans. Biden needed to make up for Obama's lack of energy and passion last week, and I can see that liberals are again energized. Ryan hung in there and stayed polite, which is what Obama did as well, but given the differences between them in age, experience and current office that perhaps seemed more appropriate to viewers in this situation. Now it is up to Obama to deliver a strong performance in the last two debates.

At this point it looks like Romney is slightly up in national polls, but Obama hangs on to his leads in the states that matter. Hopefully this debate blunts Romney's momentum and arrests Obama's slide in Ohio, Wisconsin and Iowa. If he keeps those three leads above the 2% mark, he will win. Early voting is going on in Ohio and Obama seems to have a clear advantage there.

If Obama appears jaded in next debate that's the end of him and rightly so. No one needs a prez who is in half heatedly.

You are probably right. Now that he is down in the national polls, I think he will be more aggressive in the remaining debates. If he can call out the contradictions of Romney's attempt to move back to the center, he can regain the lead he had in the polls a couple of weeks ago.
