Here's a documentary, 'A brief history of the USA' made by Michael Moore that explains the root cause of the white ppl's paranoa in America. It was aired on the Oprah show some time ago. Looks like it has been banned later. Available on youtube though. Got to watch it!

the right to life stops at conception. after that you're on your own. we won't ensure that you get a good education should you be unlucky enough to be born in a poor environment, we don't care if you have healthcare, and we sure as hell don't care if you get shot up in a gun rampage. welcome to america.

the washington post has pictures of the children on the front page. i have a hard time looking at them. and some people are complaining. but they belong on the front page and should be a source of deep, lacerating pain to all of us including those among us who support the second amendment unreservedly.

i also disagreed with the bush administration's restrictions on showing dead soldiers arriving home in body bags from iraq. our laws, government policies and actions have consequences. they should not be hidden from our citizens no matter how painful they are. we need to intellectually know, but also emotionally feel the cost we pay for the rights we would like to have as a citizenry.

Obama just finished his speech at the memorial service. A lot of rhetoric, but not a word about gun control. Disappointed! Let's see what he does in the coming weeks.

this was effectively a public memorial service for the little ones that perished. not a place for political speeches.
