A cup of coffee. No breakfast on most days, 20/30 days. The rest of the days, really unhealthy stuff like cheese bagels smeared with a cup of butter, egg mcmuffin with hash browns, english muffin with butter, chocolate muffins etc.

How can you have a "good morning thread" without saying "good morning!"?

Ate my lunch at 10:45 am, Sad. Had made a quick omelette sandwich this morning. Am thinking of renaming it 'late breakfast'. What will I do now if I'm hungry? Ugh.

Sure. While you go on your 5 mile run, I'll be putting my feet up and have a couple of cookies. While you practice your BN, I'll be watching downton abbey munching some murukkulu. While you down your 2 glasses of green monster, I'll be checking out the menu at Ihop. I'm sure we'll find something to do together.

Moxi: ok.... I will bring up Good Food when we all talk about Good Looks. That should even out. (But, whenever I see your post, your "intended plans" that you talked up long ago in Chat - more than 5 years ago - is what comes to my mind.... Bcz I told you it would not happen and you claimed it would...).

VB: you should call your eating pattern as Morning Chai, breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Tiffin, evening snack, Dinner, night snack and late night snack. You can claim you eat every 2 hours to keep any Diabetes away...Wink

Impy: the unquestioned Queen who always looked great and looking better and better.

Hmm. I can be a good listener but cannot guarantee. I can be painfully quiet or too talkative, and I have no idea of or control over which one of me will surface and when.

Uppili, I don't remember ever chatting with you. You mentioned this in some other posts as well, and each time I wonder if you are confusing me some one else. I just didn't bother asking, but this time you got me all curious with the 'intended plans".

I never chatted with anyone except for one female handle. I know that female handle wasn't you because I know her name and other details.

That is ok... no big deal.. But you did... and of course, only Sasthi can remember practically everything among the women.

It was about your career plan and ambition. So nothing really about relationship or heck even romantic talk.

Now that you dont remember it is best to leave it buried. But, you will still remind me of that conversation.

Kids wanted taco bell, suited me just fine. Son got candies and cards from school. Daughter gave me cute little m&m's packets which I finished right away. I was to take them to frozen yogurt place as my 'gift', but they were both busy with their own stuff, worked fine for me too.

How is following up on your posts being nosy?

i don't think you understand how these things work. no one wants to speed-date around valentine's day, it would look desperate. so these planners arranged for a speed-dating session at the end of the month. i will probably go. we'll see. don't worry, i'll tell you all about it.

** of course, you were just being polite. instead of taking them to a frozen yogurt place you should try out my new snack idea: take a couple of dollops of thich greek yogurt, crush and sprinkle a few walnuts (i just do this with my bare fingers) over it and then drizzle some honey over it. it's very creamy and delicious, it won't give you a sore throat, it won't make you fat. it looks nice too. and when no one's looking, you can lick the bowl.

Speed-date ISSSSSSSSSSSS desperation - not that there is anything wrong with that.
** desperation is when the IT boys run to india for two-week trips and return to america engaged or married. wrt speed-dating, if you are going in there with the intention of picking up your future spouse, then it's strange. most people my age, who've lived and grown up in the city are sophisticated enough to know that it's a trip to the bar filled with singles, it will be nice to meet people my age and network, maybe go on a few dates if our busy schedules allow.

Now that you dont remember it is best to leave it buried. But, you will still remind me of that conversation.

That sounds like the person I'd like to be. Fine, I should probably just zip it and not comment when something sounds vaguely complimentary.
