One would like to think that Biharis settled in TN are as clean as the locals. I agree though that Tamils (also Kannadigas) are in general cleaner than Biharis or UPites.

I cannot comment on Malayalis and telugus. I seem to recall you claiming once that Malayalis are cleaner than Tamils; could you confirm this?

In general, Malayalis are cleaner than Tamils.

Because of the abundance of water in their state, almost everyone in Kerala take bath daily. This is regardless of the social class or caste.

How can we expect the guy in a slum in Chennai to bathe daily when there is not enough water to drink?

i know telugus are cleaner than tamils and tamils are cleaner than biharis but some biharis are cleaner than telugus and kanadigas are loud so u cant tell them if they are unclean etc. and mallus like white so it shows they are cleaner than everyone else.

but no matter how u try to get ur chaat/gogappe to taste like the street food, you just cant. it tells us something. who is more cleaner is not what the OP is about.

to summarize the research findings from today:

it is well established that tamils and kannadigas are cleaner than biharis and UPites. however, mallus with their water abundance bathe daily and are much much cleaner than the tamils. the investigation into cleanliness of telugus is still pending, expecting survey results soon. wiki links will be updated accordingly to be used as basis for settling future arguments & scores.
