northindians would also use "gets," although differently, as in: "why formatting gets screwed up?" (note the absence of "does" and "the") making the structure of the question incorrect.

Yes, PASTE is correct.
Yeah, it's Friday Cryptics, but I had a set ready to go on Thursday.
The real reason is - with Friday, after the most of the clues have been solved, 2 or 3 clues remain and the poster has to keep checking the thread Friday night or even Saturday. Also, it's not fair to the solver if he/she is not given some feedback (if he/she solves a clue) within some reasonable time. For these reasons I thought it would be easier to manage if the set and be fair to the solver if the set is posted on a Thursday.
