So we now have Sudan and South Sudan.

Confusing.


They should rename Sudan as North Sudan.

Yeah it is unimaginative but at least it's not deceptive like Democratic Republic of Korea or the former German Democratic Republic.

I wonder if they will ratify the Rome Statute for the ICC to screw around with their former President.
