Ridiculous! It was the Nizam and the razarkars who brutalized and looted the locals/telanganites/hindus. There are so many folklores depicting the horrors of that era. After Independence, the Nizam with the help of the razakars wanted to drive out all the hindus from the region (Kashmir style) so that the region will be a muslim majority and hence can be a part of Pakistan. Thanks to the timely action by Patel. Things were brought under control and the nizam state became a part of india.
Let those journalists talk about the horror and brutality leashed out by the feudalistic Nizam and the razakars in the region.

From the Sundarlal Report :

We found definite indications that a number of armed and trained men belonging to a well known Hindu communal organisation from Sholapur and other Indian towns as also some local and outside communists participated in these riots and in some cases actually led the rioters.
