I always eat well. I suggest you do the same instead of half starving with diets like 2.5 teaspoons of soup + a sandwich made with half a slice of gluten free bread and a sliver of egg plant followed by neem leaf green tea.

Re: Lunch 2014 eidtion
sir nevada, caloric intake for today's lunch
one serving of eggplant parm - 400 calories
one cup of lentil soup - 200
two small slices of garlic bread - 2*65 = 130
Total consumed - 750
For my age, height, weight and the amount of exercise i do for the week, my "maintenance caloric intake" is around 1800, all meals included, for a day.
For a fat loss regiment, i should be at 1400 aprox per day. i am not even doing that.
Sir, i think i eat very well :-)

Re: Lunch 2014 eidtion
Ma'am, I'd respectfully point out that people who generally eat well, don't count calories.
Like they would just eat a cup of oil with a couple of pieces of fish (erroneously called fish curry, for lack of a better term), with a huge bowl of rice, and also think of posting other important things like height, weight, exercise regimen, with that kinda diet. But these people who eat well are sorta afraid that some one on Such knows where they live, and that their bluff is going to be called, and are saving some fish curry for proof, in addition to withholding all the important info, as it might be subject to verification.

LOL! totally agree with you but just to prove a point to Nevada who thinks i am always on a diet, i googled the caloric intake for all what i had for lunch today. i summed it up and surprised myself as well. he he.
i usually am not interested in any of the "people" who you talk of. i am very selfish that way, full of myself and only thinking and talking about me :-)
i also tasted "fish curry" and hated it. I started eating some chicken, this one type prepared by this one friend of mine, kerala style.
so, what did you eat for lunch today?

Often available in any persian grocery store or middle eastern store. This bread is great because it does contain any preservatives/chemicals.

One other persian bread worth trying is whole wheat Lavash. And if you go to a persian restaurant you have to try the Taftoon bread.

Vermicelli upma and a rava based sweet brought by my fasting colleague. Felt bad eating full meal when he is fasting and eating only rava sweet. So I ate half my lunch and closed my tiffin dabba. Then drank a bottle of organic pure coconut water.
(Well, made up the "organic" part for dramatic effect)
