Did only the fruits, veggies (sweet potatoes for carbs), nuts, greek yogurt and almond milk thing y'day in the name of siva ratri. Loved it! I've decided to do that every other day: tue, thu and sat from now on. I may add some sprouts and whole cereal (oats, ragi malt, barley) to the above diet. And yeah, going to keep a watch on the quantities too.

sundays are going to be freak out days. no holds, no bars. hog on! The other two days (mon, wed) are going to be 'watch what you eat' days.

I am sure it tasted better as well. the sample I had had a different color but when I did a Google search for Andhra sesame murukku, I was able to find such recipes.

anyway, I made shahi paneer over the weekend and it turned out decent, I got the recipe from here

one more thing I treasure from my mom's trunk is her hand written collection of recipes. whenever I cook following the instructions, it makes me feel like she's around. creepy perhaps for a few :-)

egg curry with just eggwhites? now that's the day i will stop eating it.

Anyway, the amount of oil, etc that goes in making egg or any curry - they should be a nono if statin is what u worry about, no?

I am sitting in a dosa place just now. Just ordered 'Bangalore Vegetable Dosa'. The description says it is a 'thin dosa with potato and vegetable topping'.

I like my dosa ultra-fermented but plain with fresh coconut chutney. otherwise, it's too complicated.

Good. You are eating naturally enhanced pranic thing that will improve your pranashakthi. The other guy is eating negatively enhanced pranic substance.

Going to Amber India for lunch. I had been there yesterday too. They had quinoa pakoda which seemed like a mix of besan, quinoa and onion. I hope they have a different dessert today, sooji halwa was underwhelming.

u mean mississippi as in river as in  Shocked ?

lol.. it was a lunch buffet. sampled a little of each. Left the other half of their spread untouched.

Well, Rava Dosa can be carried in a tiffin dabba no? But yeah, WFH today. Coconut Chutney with Rava Dosa was awesome. Followed it up with coffee. life is good.

They have a nice color when ground. Also, red onion has more punch than white or yellow onion - IMO.
