Raju and Shikha were the two kids of two single moms
Shikha's father was dead,
Raju's dad a crook who would come and then drift away

When Shikha and Raju were playing as kids
they saw his dad smuggling something
he shoots at Shikha when they tried to stop,
Shikha escapes
Shikha reported, Raju supported
dad was sent to jail
but swore revenge on both of them.

The moms moved and changed all their names
Raju's dad found them anyway.
In a very scenic looking all season's room with green hills around
He spots Raju and Shika and attacks them.
They try to defend and run,
the dad shoots Shikha and then he shoots Raju
This time he gets them

Suddenly Shikha is me, and
I am seeing my own soul trying to leave Shikha
Raju is dying too.

That's when I woke up,
with arms feeling light from all the goosebumps.
It was 3:00 am, my heart beating hard and fast.

Took me forever to sleep again.
Now this is what I call
a good old scary and vivid dream
I got it after a long long time.

Your soul left Shikha and then you woke up => it did enter you just when it left Shikha. So you are indeed Shikha reincarnated. If only you waited till Raju's soul left him and then woke up to observe who else woke up, we'd have known Raju's identity too and completed the story.
