and selfish draweed does it again! the only reason why he came on this tour was to chase his records. first, he chased the second-highest-run-getter record in a losing cause. he put his selfish interests over the team. he shamelessly chased his record by scoring a hundred when the team was certain to lose. what is the value of his 100 at Lord's? note that he scored it in the first innings (103 - just enough) and then did not do much in the IInd innings.
and in the second ongoing test, he equalled gavaskar's record of 34 centuries - the second reason why has decided to tour ENG instead of retiring in the first place. and this one is also in a losing cause. and when he did that, he threw away his wicket shamelessly, leaving the entire team in gutter. what is the value of his hundred? the match is lost, after all. why did he score that hundred? that's because he put his own selfish interests above the team. he chased his record not caring about the team total.
and now he will want to surpass ponting. shameless, selfish draweed will play on for five years, thanks to bangalore mafia, just so he could chase ponting's 39 hundreds.
