It won't be a permanent fix. I tried to replace the comment tag with null...not a good idea though. I didn't get a chance to understand the sulekha's style of coding and also not good at php. Still we can embbed scripts but need to replace their variable...which they obviously don't allow and it is illegal to overwrite their stuff. Unless otherwise we do that...we cannot fix it. I don't want to be in trouble.

good that. You tried fixing the whole comment tag, which commented out your script itself. If you just worked on replacing the last two characters of comment tag, it would have been better. Again, it may not have worked.

I realized that it did replaced my comment itself. Instead that it is much easier to modify their script - by checking unclosed html tags before posting is the right way to do it.

I can't believe that they are not fixing it. All they have to do is to not allow comment tag in the editor or anywhere or if they do so automate the close tag...any tag for that matter. May be allow the user to post only when they close it...kinda force close by the users. Such a small fix and they don't care.

She tried to replace "yee tee" with Kothi. Due to comment tag mismatch it was visible on main screen. Teh donkey/monkey attempts were on my id and they were not visible unless you looked at source.

Yeah, if the thread killing hadn't happened, I would still have put up with the following annoyances that I no longer have to deal with:

Lack of a decent search feature
