Andhra Capital - Central Committee report Empty Andhra Capital - Central Committee report

It appears the Sivaramakrishnan committe recommended against VJA and GNT for AP capital. It also reports that Vizag and Nellore are also no good. It thinks Vinukonda/Donakonda are ideal. Probably they placed a lot of emphasis on land availability/cost and the centrality of location, but no concern was shown for cultural, business, water, and connectivity problems.

If it's a 10 or 12 building political capital, their recommendations are okay (in fact, that's what they recommended). If so, for 10 or 12 buildings AP doesn't need Central dollars. That is, they can trash the committe report and do whatever Naidu wants. However, if Center refuses funds for AP capital at any other location, and with the state in dire financial situation, what options does Naidu have?

Center can't say no to the decision of the state. They may put a limit on how much money they will give. May be, they will say, they will give equivalent to what the committee recommends (they are supposed to release the financial aspect today or tomorrow). Naidu may be able to convince the people to donate towards a capital.
