Taking potshots at the government over the decline in the value of Rupee vis-a-vis US dollar, Congress today reminded Prime Minister Narendra Modi of his "barb" made last year against then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the same issue.

"What happened to talks of strong nationalism, the blatant jingoism, the 56-inches chest... That is not enough. It's all showing up.. In the last six months, the value of Rupee has fallen now to Rs 63.57 per dollar. "We had brought it at the level of Rs 58.5 per dollar.

Can I ask the Prime Minister now whose age in the Union Council of Ministers, the Rupee is now chasing. Perhaps the questioner has the answer," party spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi told reporters.
